The Board of Directors of Jain Studios Ltd. comprises of Chairman and Managing Director and one Non-Executive Promoter Director. The Board also comprises of Five Non-Executive Independent Directors.

Dr. J.K. Jain, Chairman & Managing Director

Dr. J.K. Jain born on 18.02.1945, is a surgeon, Parliamentarian and founder of Jain TV Group, known for pioneering the satellite TV era in India. Dr. Jain’s leadership business acumen and entrepreneurial initiatives have led to the establishment of several other successful businesses, including:

• Dr. Jain Video on Wheels Ltd. (VOW), subsidiary company of Jain studios Ltd., India’s largest rural marketing Company and first of its kind in India, a countrywide network of mobile video and health service vans serving rural and tribal areas;

• Noida Software Technology Park Ltd. (NSTPL), India’s first private teleport that provides up-linking services to satellite television broadcasters, in process of implementing Mobile Broadband & 3G services via satellite using Inmarsat’s 4th Generation Constellation of Satellites, Digital Content Distribution Network via DTH & HITS and Development of High Tech Innovation Park for IT etc. ;

• Medical Communication Network (MCN) whose publications include the Indian edition of FIGO Journal, IJGO (International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics) and the Population Reports for John Hopkins University).

He largely works for the benefit of the people at the bottom of the socio-economic pyramid from which he comes which includes his historic peace initiatives during the year 2002 at Gujarat Communal riots and the most recent initiatives is the formation of National Alliance of Communities (NAC), the object of which is to unite deprived communities under one umbrella and effectively help them achieve increased say in the governance in India.

Being the Chairman & Managing Director of the Company, he is looking after the overall business activities of the Company subject to the superintendence and control of the Board of Directors of the Company.
 

Dr. (Mrs.) Ragini Jain, Director
 

Dr. (Mrs.) Ragini Jain born on 26.09.1949 is the Promoter and Non-Executive Director of the Company. She in her capacity as an eminent Medical Doctor, (MBBS, MD) of repute having post qualification experience of about 22 years of managing and running reputed Medical Center at South Delhi is providing leadership and direction to the Company. She is also working in the Medical Communication Network which publishes the Indian edition of FIGO Journal, IJGO (International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics) and the Population Reports for John Hopkins University).
 

Shri Vishnu Bhagwan, Independent Director
 

Sh. Vishnu Bhagwan born on 07.12.1940 joined the Board of Directors of the Company on 30.06.2005 as Independent Non-Executive Director. He is a retired IAS officer of 1965 batch, Haryana cadre. He held important position in the State Government as well as the Government of India such as Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Sonepat & Faridabad, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Haryana and India’s representative to the Food and Agricultural Organisation of the UNO at Rome.
 

Shri M.D. Asthana, Independent Director
 

Shri M.D. Asthana born on 19.12.1941 joined the Board of Directors of the Company on 30.06.2005 as Independent Non-executive Director. He is a retired IAS officer of 1965 batch. He has done M.Sc. in Physics & Mathematics and M.A. in Economics. He has also done PG in Economic Development & Social Studies from Manchester University, UK. He has served State government of Haryana and Government of India and held important position in Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Food, Planning Commission, Statistics, Programme Monitoring & Implementation etc. He was also the Director of Council for Social Development, Delhi for a period of three years.
 

Shri J.C Jetli, Independent Director
 

Shri J.C Jetli born on 17.05.1933 is a retired I.A.S officer, joined the Board of Directors of the Company on 23rd January 2008 as Independent Non-Executive Director. He has served Government of Bihar in various responsible position such as S.D.O, under Secretary, Joint Registrar Cooperative Department, District Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, Commissioner Commercial Taxes and Ex-officio Finance Secretary, Chairman of Bihar State Electricity and he also held various post under Government of India i.e Deputy Secretary, Director, Managing Director of National Textile Corporation, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Secretary etc. He was the Chairman of Damodar Valley Corporation, Kolkata (For a period of Five and Half Years).
 

Shri Krishan Lall khetarpaul, Independent Director
 

Mr Krishan Lall Khetarpaul born on 02.07.1943 joined the Board of Directors of the Company on 23rd January 2008 as Independent Non-Executive Director. He is a seasoned banker having more than 37 years of experience with the Reserve Bank of India including 16 years of Banking regulation/ supervision. He joined in Reserve Bank of India in 1965 as a probationary officer and retired from the services in the year 2003 as its Executive Director. He is also having 2 years of experience in Punjab National Bank Institute of Information Technology as a Director. His other responsibility included trusteeship on the Board of Unit Trust of India and Heading of Technical Committee of RBI and SEBI for Capital Market

Ms. Tanuja Joshi, Independent Director
 

Ms. Tanuja Joshi born on 23.09.1963 joined the Board of Directors of the Company on 23rd January 2008 as Independent Non-Executive Director. She is the Managing Director of Venue Eye Institute & research Center, Saikh Sarai, New Delhi and also the President of Community Ophthalmology Society of India and Secretary of Vision 2020. She was the immediate past President of the eye Bank Association of India, Which is an umbrella body for all eye Bank in India
